NI PXIe (PCI eXtensions for Instrumentation Express) is a rugged, modular instrumentation platform developed by National Instruments. It combines PCI Express electrical connections with the PXI mechanical form factor to deliver high-bandwidth, low-latency performance for test, measurement, and automation applications. PXIe chassis can house multiple instrument modules—such as digitizers, signal generators, and DAQ boards—controlled by a single embedded or remote controller.
